I finished the applique on the Ark quilt, made some changes with the animals and decided to add some different sashing to make it larger. The center block is about 20" x 22" and thinking I will add one more big border. Maybe not, it's a nice size now for a wall quilt.

Well, I could tell you I was able to snap this pic of the buffalo roaming outside the park, but afraid they are on a ranch that I drive by from time to time. There are ranches that raise them for their meat and hides. I'll let it go at that.
I really like your version, that is the fun of the book, you can mix and match the ones you like. Beautiful photo of the bison.

I love the colours in this block , it's going to look great when it's quilted.
