My Sue Spargo Quilts

I'm looking forward to starting Sue's BOM, In Full Bloom, in a few weeks.  So showing all the BOMs of hers that I have made in the past.

My red version of Ginger Grove, 2006.

I've had the Creative Stitching book for a month or so.  Really like it, small size and easy to refresh my mind on a stitch or two before I start working on a quilt.

Sandi asked what I'm working on, will show some of what I'm making in the next week or so, been very distracted by the wildlife.

A prim Sue Spargo quilt

Oh, but you can make a Sue Spargo quilt look prim. I am at heart a primitive quilter, also, but have to break out of that mold sometime. I made this "prim" one in reddish tones back in 2006, combination fabric and wool. I had made the original in Sue's colors and gave it away as a gift. Then decided I had to have one for myself.
