Quilting the Ark

I started quilting the Ark, hand quilting with a big stitch.  I'm using a black DMC crochet cotton thread.
A pic of it outside before I started to quilt, wanted to see how it looked with the larger border, it works for me.

    I really love the shades that you used in this piece, just the right amount of pop with prim shades to tone it all down.
