Mule Deer...

Photos of Mule Deer from this past week...

A handsome Buck, knee deep in the snow.

The Doe...her twins in the next few photos are the ones
that were hunkered down under a tree during the last snow storm.

The twins...

"We listen, we think, we feel, we see, all of us."

Giving me quite the look...

She's a beautiful Doe who looks very pregnant.

And a little wild rabbit watching it all.

  2. These are gorgeous photos, the deer have such a lovely colouring. Are you outside when you take the photos and do you use a zoom lens?

  4. Oh the twins, they are adorable! And the rabbit! Makes me think of the two Belgian giant rabbits we had in the past, they always looked so wise and observant.

    1. Nancy, you are a no reply...Thank you so much. The deer will paw through the snow to get to the grasses if it's not too deep. The wind has blown the snow away in the lower meadow so the grass is exposed and makes it easier for them to find food.

  7. I've not been to visit your blog for awhile, you've shared some amazing animal photos! I guess that is the mule deer version of a teenagers eye roll!

Your Bird Dance blocks are great! I've been working on some old UFO's and need to get back on mine also. So close to finishing!
