Remember the Primitive Star Burst

Finally finished the hand quilting that I wanted to add between the machine quilting.  Even removed some machine quilting that I didn't like although I see now that I need to remove one more line of stitches from a square.
It was a clear day after having several days of poor air quality due to all the fires in all the western states.

Have to say I was tickled to put a quilt in the mail for the Spring issue of the prim mag today.  Hard to think of Spring when I'm really looking forward to Winter and snow and cold temps and no fires.

  1. I like how you stitched the quilt, really prim look. I can't wait to see what you made for the magazine.

  2. I like the way you hand quilted between the machine quilting, it's a great quilt.
We are just feeling the fresher winds that bring the end of summer, I love the smell of Autumn approaching.
    Have a great week.

  3. These fires have been crazy! Just yesterday I walked outside my door and the smell.... not again!!! Another fire! Argh!

Your quilt is delightful. I adore plaids and stripes.
