First, another pincushion made with the use of a dessert cup. A vintage spool of thread and twill tape from Minick & Simpson. I won a spool of it years ago from the ladies.
And speaking of taking the long way home. There is a herd of big horn sheep making their way down the rock slide on the side of the mountain behind the house. Doubt that you can see them, maybe one at the very bottom, why I really want a better telephoto lens for my camera.
Well they made it and one ewe was thirsty enough to come up to the house with her baby to drink out of a saucer. So wanted to show her that tub of water. She seemed content to drink from the little saucer and they all went on their way.
Can't see them, but beautiful view anyways. What type of lens do you have and camera?

Your pin cushion is nice! What type of dessert cup?
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures! So pretty~♥♥♥
I did manage to see the sheep on the picture after enlarging it. They are so well camoflaged.
ReplyDeleteLove your little pin cushion in that tiny red check. I have used the same fabric for sashing in a lap quilt.
Smiles and hugs,
Angela.
I like very much the Minick and Simpson fabrics!
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to live in this country....
Kiss from France!
Cathy, the dessert cups are those clear glass ones. If you click on the labels for pin cushions, you can see a pic of the dessert cup. Nancy
ReplyDeleteI think I'm like those sheep. For some reason I tend to find myself making things harder on myself then need be. :)
