Primitive Starburst and Wildlife, of course

I decided to show a picture of my Primitive Starburst that I've been hiding so to speak, just the top for now, finished the applique the other day.  Now I'm trying to decide whether to quilt it by hand which will be forever since there's a line forming or machine quilt it, that I can get to sooner.  Liking the idea of machine quilting to enhance all the applique since the applique pieces are so large and lots of background fabric to be quilted, rather densely, I think.  Anyway,  just thinking.

Pictures from the past, several summers ago as you can see from the green grass.  Green grass doesn't last long up here.  A beautiful white tail buck in his velvet antlers.  If I recall, he was looking at one of the cats.

Such an oddity of nature to see velvet antlers.

  8. Such an oddity of nature is right! They seem so gentle and big eyed and man can they be wicked when they strike!

Yes, lots of dense quilting to make the applique stand out. I agree most whole heartily!
