As I was walking outside to feed the birds this afternoon, yet another fire to break out and explode into the beautiful blue sky. I was so excited this morning to see the sky had cleared of all the smoke yesterday from two fires in the valley and one here in Tom Miner, hoping it meant the firefighters were getting a handle on containing the fires. This one is just across the river and highway.
That is such a shame and I hope they contain them soon.
