Fire Season in MT

As I was walking outside to feed the birds this afternoon, yet another fire to break out and explode into the beautiful blue sky.  I was so excited this morning to see the sky had cleared of all the smoke yesterday from two fires in the valley and one here in Tom Miner, hoping it meant the firefighters were getting a handle on containing the fires.  This one is just across the river and highway.

  1. That is such a shame and I hope they contain them soon.
    Stay safe...

  2. Stay safe Nancy.

  3. Hope you are safe and prepared. There are so may fires this year; I'm in AZ but I think they are in 8 different states now.

  4. please take care, I remember last year.
will be praying for all in your area!
    God bless!

  5. Oh no!!! Not good, stay safe, Francine.

  6. Yikes...too close for you.

  7. Keep safe Nancy, looks like that one is quite close.

  8. These pictures are amazing and look all too close !
I have been reading your blog for some time now...
all the while wondering who Tom Miner is ???
Now I know it is a town !

  9. That looks scary.
We have had too much rain here in the NC mountains. Wish I could send some of it to all the fires in the west.
    Stay safe!
I too had been wondering who Tom Miner was!

  10. Any progress on the fires today, Nancy? Hope you aren't in any danger. Those pictures are awsome and awful at the same time.

  11. That looks scary. We do not have those things over here. Hope it doesn't get too bad.

  12. Hi Nancy, Boy were on the same page. Last week there was two fires and three planes dispatched near Crest.Fire season in southern california is like a guess where the next big fire will be.Cheri
