The Ark and Critters

I do love this wallhanging from Noah.  I love the ark, the applique is huge, about 18" x 20" and I didn't want to hide my ark, so I changed some of the animals.
Speaking of animals, the mule deer have come down with the snow.
They are waiting to steal the bird seed.

Lots of snow and very cold temps, but I planned for it so I haven't needed to go out to the store which is twenty miles one way and I was able to drive off the property today with my four wheel drive, just in case.

  1. I made this wall hanging last year. Used lots of homespuns and had a friend do machine quilting. It really turned out cute. Have fun with it.

  2. I love how your ark is coming out and plan on doing more from the book.

  3. Evening Nancy....wonderful Ark, looking the Mule deer, so so pretty.......funny, they like the birdseed......Blessings Francine.

  4. Hi Nancy,
The animals look good both on your ark and outside in the snow. Your pictures are wonderful!!
    Will you hand quilt this?

  5. Nancy I just LOVE your Noah's Ark - how can I get this pattern? The snow looks so pretty.... winter is upon us!

  6. Fabulous Ark. I like the red plaid on the ark. My wooden one is red with a yellow/orange roof ;-)
    The deer don't look hungry!

  7. nancy i just love seeing what you are making! love your colors and patterns. we have a bit of snow here in mn and today it was 17 above. i plan for it too! as in having enought dog and cat food! i really dont like going out much even when its warm (except gardens) so really hate it when its cold. enjoy your evening nancy and its really a beautiful noahs ark! and what beautiful mule deer! we had them almost in our back yard when we were in rapid city but dont see them here in mn.
