Oh Boy!

Slight glee at finishing the embellishment on these two blocks from Imperial Blooms, I told you there were a zillion stitches to add.   A few changes to suit me.  I can start sewing those blocks together.

A real thrill, the wool mat I had worked on and posted about months ago, I had submitted it to a mag, received a call this morning, must say it's very nice to talk to the real person behind a computer screen, especially when they end up sounding as nice in person.  Anyway, accepted to be published in the Prim mag.  I've named it Winter Whites.  A good start to the week.  Oh boy!

  1. Oh congratulations! What a thrill this must be for you. I am excited to see it :) Just looks wonderful!

  2. Oooh. I can't imagine how excited you must be and I can't wait to see the whole thing. Congratulations!

  3. That is a lot of stitching, but you did a beautiful job on all those beads and embellishments. Congrats on getting into the magazine, can't wait to see your project.

  4. Awesome...and so exciting to be published!!!

  5. Well Done, it certainly deserves to be in a magazine. Your Emperial Blooms look wonderful with all the embellishing.

  6. That's great news Nancy!! I love it when a little surprise phone call or email makes a day special. Well done on being published. Those blocks are delicious, I'm looking forward to seeing them put together..
