A time to remember and reflect.A link to read to remind us of what our military families are facing:
http://strengthensocialsecurity.org/veterans-report/
From this report:
Most of the more than 4,000 children who lost a parent since the beginning of the Irag and Afghanistan wars now receive Social Security survivors benefits.
More than 771,000 veterans receive Social Security disability benefits.
It is our obligation to fight to enusure that veterans and military families receive every benefit they deserve. Meaning that we should remind Congress that those who serve our nation, should never have to worry about any social security benefit cuts.
If the link doesn't work, please google it.
I'll never understand why our government feels it's necessary to take away from United States citizens so money can be sent to countries who hate us and have vowed to destroy us. Our military men and women have often given their lives to keep us safe. We should support them in every way possible.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me so sad here in the UK to hear on the news that young men are losing there lives because of the crazyness in our world.
ReplyDeleteThese brave men and there families believe in what they are fighting for.
I support them wholeheartedly.
