More Vintage Brannock & Patek

More fabrics from my online friend, love them, I especially love the big angel panel.

I meant to add this quotation, but the phone keeps ringing, so much how I feel now with Jim's passing, so many people continue to call, send notes and drop by, glad I got out of my pj's today. Reading more, always looking for answers, I do know this now, watching Jim face his suffering and death has humbled me, I finally figured out what I had been feeling, such a sadness yet admiration of what he endured. I will admire his spirit forever.

Anyway, from Melody Beattie, part of one of her quotations;
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude
makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. So with that said, I am grateful for having had a life with my Jim, grateful for family and friends who have made this latest path bareable.

  1. That is wonderful fabric, I have the book with those patterns.
    Didn't know that they had fabric too. Fun to go through boxes of new things, ideas for future projects.

  3. I love that quote.We don`t know what lies in the future for all of us,what will we have to contend with,will our spirit be able to teach someone else by what we are going through,it`s life lessons we don`t understand right away.I`d say you & Jim have taught us each so much.phyllis

  4. That is real nice saying. I love that material. I too have the book to make the figures like on the material. Do you know yet what you will make with the liberty material? I too have been humbled alot in life by things I had no idea why they had to happen. But later on looking back, I could see that there is a lesson in everything.

  5. What an inspiring quote. I have had lots of ups and downs but I'm always glad with the special things that are around me. Here in England spring has really arrived, just to look out of the window is a delght.
    Love the fabric.
