I received this sweet angel from an internet friend, Shari, that I have never met, she made this angel, look at the wonderful face. I'm always so honored to received gifts from fellow quilters for absolutely no reason unless of course they probably think I need an angel to watch over me, which lately it seems that I do. I can chase bears, climb ladders, and trees but walk down a flight of stairs and there I am at the bottom which happened to me at work on Wednesday and I've been laid up ever since. Very bad ankle sprain and Jim is fearful that a bone in the lower leg is broken, it didn't show up on the xray, but I'm in an air cast and it looks like a bear took a baseball bat to my leg. My Jim is disabled so we are making quite a pair hobbling around. Yesterday we had a 50 lb. bag of seed in the car and we both looked at each other as to how we were going to get it in the house. Between the two of us we made it. And the birds are very grateful.
Oh Nancy - poor you, I hope it is just a sprain, and that the little anngel keeps watch over you :o) Take care - I recommend some nice gentle hand stitching therapy for a speedy recovery!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful angel, and such a sweet gift. I have found that when quilters send gifites like this, they tend to come at just the right time. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
