Wildlife and quilts

With the fall weather, and snow in the upper elevations, the wildlife are starting to come down. Drove home from work to see the first of our big horn sheep coming back to the house to graze, the first pic is of a beautiful Ram. They usually stay all winter and spring grazing on our property with deer and other wildlife.

The second pic is my Cookie Cutter quilt, saw the pattern somewhere and made my own version, needle turn applique.

  2. He's truly magnificent, isn't he! I'm so enjoying you sharing your quilts and valley with the "world". So many more people can enjoy them now in addition to the folks on your yahoo groups list.

  5. Thanks so much, I must show you what the whole family of big horns look like when the females were here with their babies this past spring.

May Britt, I do work mostly in darker colors, the dark colors work best for the look I want.

  6. Wildlife make the best lawn ornaments. The quilt is wonderful, too -- your color selections are right up my alley.

  7. Montana is so great, we visited there several years ago. It was so beautiful and we saw lots of wildlife, we're bummed that we haven't had a chance to go back. At least I can see pictures of it now, thanks!
