The Emily Munroe Quilt

One last look at my Emily Munroe quilt before I take the blocks apart.
I wanted some photos of the entire quilt to
judge that last border...whether to keep it or not.

I like it, especially since it represents the original.

Now to take all the blocks apart and
reconstruct the quilt using the potholder method.

  2. Your quilt is beautiful, Nancy. You said you have to take the blocks apart. Are they sewn by hand, by machine, just basted, or maybe even just pinned? It's too bad about the extra work but I'm sure it will be best for the quilt.

  4. I'm so happy to hear you are going to use the potholder method as in the original. I think you will have fun with it although I am not one to take things "apart"! You have done a marvelous job with these. What a treasure!

  8. Wondered why you were going to take the blocks apart but now I understand. Are your backgrounds wool also. I have always liked this quilt design. Maybe I will purchase it somewhere along the way.
