Fastest land mammal in North America up to 60 miler per hour.
They have a few fawns nearby,
but I haven't been able to get a photo of them.
They have such beautiful markings...
notice the black markings inside her ears.
A male, still trying to shed his winter coat.
Two females who are still shedding their winter coasts, also.
We used to see TONS of them as we drove thru New Mexico but not so much anymore. Always called them white butts since that was usually the first thing we noticed! HA

ReplyDeleteSuch graceful animals the Pronghorn are!! You are blessed to live and enjoy a variety of animals. I am excited to say we are leaving tomorrow to spend a week in your beautiful area! Celebrating my 60th birthday with my son and wife and 3 grandsons, age 8!!! It will be the best!!
