I remember when I first discovered your blog and learned a little about your husband and his passing. I went from one previous post to the next, reading your story, and his, too. I felt so sad. There is the passing of a loved one, but there is the bigger challenge of living without him, of missing him. I'm so sorry for your loss, Nancy. Blessings to you. --Nancy. Nancy, emptiness is great. the pain immense. you are a strong lady. you have been through many challenges, not only the loss of Jim but your car accident (i believe it was..) and the broken leg. your nursing. yet, you have a deep God given strength. may He continue to give you strength.
Wrap yourself around the good memories and feel the warmth from the smiles those memories bring. I also mark today. My father my friend who I miss terribly would have celebrated his birthday today. Sending an understanding hug your way.
I understand how you feel, my father's birthday is the 20th and miss him each year also in May when he passed away. Hold fast to your memories, they will last you a lifetime Nancy. Take care of yourself.
Jim was such a huge part of your life. Remembering your life and recalling memories shared with him is bound to be bittersweet. I'm certain that he remains near you, as your guardian angel and cheering section, sending you happy thoughts, and a few tears. ❤️
I'm so sorry...
