Hospitality Sweets

I finished the hand quilting on Hospitality Sweets.  I used the Big Stitch with DMC Crewel thread so it didn't take very long.  This was a BOM from Sue Spargo and Jan Patek from many years ago.  I was lucky enough to receive the BOM as a gift from Patty with all the patterns and fabrics.  It will be my summer quilt for my bed during these still cool nights.

Thanks so much for all the compliments on my bird and wildlife photos.  I have been learning some new techniques this past week and have some more photos to share soon.

  1. I really love how that came out. I need to practice the big stitch, my hand stitching always ends up too small and love the big stitch look on the prim quilts.

  2. Oh Nancy, that is a beauty. I know you will enjoy having that on your bed on cool nights. I'm afraid we've run out of cool nights here in SC. Hot and sticky!!! Gotta love livin' in the South!!!!
