A peek of my wool mat in the Summer issue of the Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine. Wool applique on a white wool background. Some of the applique is stitched and some are couched using strips of wool. You'll need the mag to see.
Lots of wonderful projects, I especially like a wool wallhanging called Autumn All Around by Tonee White.
I have an extra copy of this issue, be a follower and leave me a comment that you would like to win and I will pick a winner in the next few days.
So exciting. I would love to have a copy! Thanks. Donna

ReplyDeleteHave to tell you my Mom keeps thinking about how much fun it must have been for you to open package full of Jan Patek goodies from one of your followers...she hasn't felt like stitching for a while but loves hearing about what my online friends are doing...
I have seen some rugs and thought of making them into quilts, but you really have a way with interpreting antique designs into something new and original. I have a copy, so my entry is for a friend;)
