Sweet Grace

A pic of Sweet Grace, a design by Jan Patek, I've shown it before but what the heck.  I actually used raw edge applique on this quilt.  Next on my list to machine quilt, leaving only one more quilt to machine quilt to catch myself up.
Funny, odd how the little things can freak me out more than the monumental events.  My big computer crashed the other day, right when I was trying to open my Etsy shop.  Had to stop screaming "are you kidding me" long enough to calmly think, computer geek think, how to fix it myself.  And to my surprise, right in the middle of my computer geek thinking, I get a sale, "are you kidding me", now, I can't connect, well I can with my IPad which makes no sense, which sends me back to the main computer, it can be fixed, since it all makes no sense.  You know all this technology makes no sense, it just works, so reset, reset, reset even more and I'm back.

I will have a link to my Etsy shop soon when I'm ready.

  1. This is a beautiful quilt! I love every bit of it.

I'll look for the link to your Etsy shop!

  2. I like seeing your "Sweet Grace". I just happen to have the pattern sitting in front of me on the computer desk. A future project for me.

  3. that is very lovely! pretty colors!

  4. This made me LAUGH!! Do you know how many times I scream at my computer?! Exactly like you did! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? And when I'm really mad...... ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME! :D

Your quilt is beautiful. I love the reds. I'm glad you showed it to us again.

Good luck with your computer. I'm a geek. But even that doesn't help me on the computer. :D

  5. oh i am totally with you on the computer frustration thing, except i'm not even close to geek when it comes to technical objects......quilt is wonderful and look forward to checking out the Etsy.......(patterns?)

  6. Oh Nancy, computers are surely sent to test our patience but when we scream at them they never answer back, bit like the sat nav.
Your quilt is gorgeous, such lovely colours.
I'm off to cowslip today and will think of you when i see the 'wadding'. I have some made from Jo's sheep it's lovely and soft, great for hand quilting.
    Have a great weekend,
    Smiles across the miles,

  7. trying to figure the computer thing gives me a awful h/a ever challenging! good luck and with etsy too! enjoy your day nancy!
