Envelope Purse
A comparison in size of the envelope purse and a regular size purse for Jody to see. Of course since I carry a backpack, the only purse I could find is my memory purse, yes, you would think I would make some purses for myself. Yes, you would think.
oh thanx nancy! i love both sizes especially the smaller one. im not a purse person as i need 2 free hands at all times to treasure hunt!! the one and only goes over my shoulder. but like for weddings or funerals i carry it.. i should really have a back up.. i helped out at the quilt shop today and left my purse home so i wouldnt come home with any more wool... enjoy your evening.
I like the size and it could be reduced to hold a cell phone or pocket camera. I want to make purses too, but never get around to it. I also carry a knapsack purse, nice for when we stop places and go for a walk.
I never would have thought of making a memory purse. A good idea but I would be afraid of losing items off of it. Perhaps it is just a display piece for you. It would have to be for me. You are so creative, Nancy.
Hi Nancy, I do so love your purses, they are beautifully stitched and always such lovely colours. It was interesting to see the construction in your last post. Have a great week, I'm off to the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham so I'll try and post from there so you can share my visit. Hugs Angela.x
