The Primitive Star Burst Quilt

Despite Bailey, (he is a beautiful boy), I was able to get the Prim Star Burst machine quilted.   This is my design, Linda, all the fabric is vintage Brannock & Patek. I left lots of room between the not perfect stitching lines, I wanted random lines with no rhyme or reason, not bothering me if the lines matched up or not.  Now I can add some hand quilting between those lines.  I saw the look on a blog and really liked it.
Catching a needed breeze.
Went searching for wildlife, would have even been okay to see a rattlesnake to test my lens, but the little rabbit was all I saw.

  3. Your quilting looks wonderful on this piece. The rabbit came out nicely, true colors which is the hardest to get with zooms.

  5. I clicked on your pics to get a close up and love the quilting, that's a great idea to do handquilting in between. I have used a mixture on some of my quilts and love the way it turns out.
