It's the Best Quilt Book Ever!

Pinterest is like reading the best quilt book ever.  The best of the best quilts that viewers love.  I've admired this quilt before, the simplicity of the single star, from the Folk Art Museum.
Diamond hexagon on silk background, from the quiltindex.  Maybe I need to learn how to sew hexagons, quiltindex.org
Taken with the colors and fabrics, quiltindex.org
I actually have had this picture of this rug torn from a magazine for a quilt I see in my head.  Finally a large picture to see the color variations, Folk Art Museum

So much inspiration, I  have to look away sometime, makes my mind start reeling of all the quilts that need, want to be made.
And I haven't even starting looking at primitive quilts or wool.

  1. Great quilts for inspiration, I like the one with x's in it, I have something like that, that I found to try and reproduce.

  7. Oh, I just cannot allow myself to get started on Pinterest *lol* But I do love Quilt Index. That hexagon quilt is calling me - I want to do another and that one has a great visual without the commitment of an entire hexagon top.
