No snow, the lower meadow full of dry grass, but the sheep seem to like it.
Hard to believe they eat this stuff.
A beautiful, healthy ram,
Munching that grass.
Watching me.
What is he doing?
A little one sticking close to a ram.
Running to catch up with rest of the herd.
Wow! You really live in a beautiful area. And, the grass does look like snow! It's amazing they like the dry grass.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! So neat you are able to see such beautiful creatures up close and personal in your back yard!
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine the thrill of seeing these creatures in real life!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteGreat to see those sheep, I guess dry grass is the same as hay used here to feed the cows that are in winter housing at the top of my garden.
It's cold here with snow flurries, just the sort of day for a walk then sitting by the Aga stitching.
Have a great day,
Hugs, Angela.
I'm so glad you get to see such beauty! Awesome pictures, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, my husband loves your wildlife shots!
