I continue to go thru boxes and pictures of stuff, things I want to send to Jim's family that they might want and came across this picture of Jim and Spider. Jim was oh so young here. So handsome. Makes me feel overwhelmed with sadness now.
A story to tell about how we came to have Spider. We had a big male cat, all black that we called Charlie. This is when we lived in Texas. Didn't know until later that our neighbors owned Charlie also and called him Jingles. Charlie came into the garage carrying Spider in his mouth, her leg was broken. Probably from getting caught in the fan of one of the cars. It was a compassionate gesture from a cat, bringing her to us to help. We took her to the vet of course for surgery and had her for years as we did Charlie, aka Jingles.
Jim and Spider look so peaceful.
