Time to pick up a needle

A thoughtful blogger sent me a box of old Brannock & Patek fabrics, it came after the accident and I now have time to go thru the box and handle these old vintage fabrics. I am thrilled she thought of me to send them. Will hem this little piece of fabric of angels for a little curtain. A good way to start.

  2. Lucky you! When that particular fabric came out, I lived in an area where no shop carried Brannock & Patek fabrics. Enjoy playing with all the fabrics from the box.

  6. I thought of you this evening as I heard this quote attributed to Rose Kennedy:
"Birds sing after a storm; why shouldn't people feel as free to delight in whatever sunlight remains to them?" I hope that you find delight in all the things that previously brought you joy.

  9. My favourite quote-'my soul is fed by needle and thread'. I use this often in my work and have been able to find such comfort in my stitching, I'm sure you will too.
    Enjoy!

  14. What a nice idea! Your friend sending it to you and you using it for a curtain too. I really like the folk art fabric. Good way to get stitching.
