Wedding Ring Pillow
I'm inspired, received Sue's new book, Contemporary Folklore, stunning book, and how simple some things come together after thinking and rethinking the design for a wedding ring pillow that was to be out of the box, the daughter of my boss asked me to make one for her wedding next month, I've put it off, I don't do wedding pillows, don't do white I said to myself, her colors are white of course, and it's a Spanish Montana cowboy wedding so the male's are wearing turquoise, and different shades of copper thank goodness. So those are my colors, an inspired beaded Spargo bird with beads, coral jewelry, fancy tail and embroidery.

Nice choice! The fabrics look beautiful :-)
ReplyDeleteThe fabrics are absolutely fabulous...especially the copper & turquoise batik. You must have known you'd find your inspiration in Sue's new book ;)
ReplyDeleteAnxious to see the finished pillow. You always do such beautiful work.
