Looking for this quilt by Yoko Saito
Help, it's driving me crazy to find it. This pic is from a Danish blogger, (hope she doesn't mind), but she doesn't have any additional info on it, she's been emailed by a member of my yahoo group and of course, we've emailed the designer,
Yoko Saito has a site in english. Quilt party or shop quilt party. You can ask questions on there. I asked why her books weren't in english and i got back they will be in 2010. There is also a store on e-bay " Rose Tree crafts, you can look at her books when you click on one you can see every page inside of the book . So you might find this quilt yet !
I recently discovered Yoko Saito (I'm just a little slow -- she's written 30+ books and has been quilting for years). I too fell in love with this quilt when I saw it in Quiltmania magazine. Please, please, please post any further info you receive regarding a pattern for this quilt. Love your blog and your quilts, thanks so much for sharing. Edie in Harlingen, Texas
Hello, I am a quilter from Spain and I discover your blog by chance. I have got the pattern of this quilt You can find it in a Saito Yoko´s book called "Woolwork" (2004), but.... you won´t find, in the original pattern, the appliqued hearts all around the quilt. This must have been added by someone else. If you want the pattern just let me a post in my blog. Happy Xmas.Geli
Maybe you could ask here http://jookieshandwerken.web-log.nl/mijn_weblog/2008/05/nog-even-wat-mo.html

ReplyDeleteCan't help you, but thanks for introducing me to her. Wow, she does wonderful work!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful quilt! The hearts on the border with applique in each makes a very good border.
