Been a while

I finally finished the one block UFO from Jan Patek, added one more border and machine quilted it. I like the way it looks. Needs a home. Haven't decided whether to part with it, sell it or hang it on the wall.

And then some pics of our spring storms, one day snow, one day it has all melted away, a pic of the elk with the snow gone, crossing the highway as I leave for work.

And then a tote using fabric from the Blackbird Ladies for a birthday gift, one side has an applique piece and then on the other side one earring that I drilled thru to sew it on.

Very difficult month for Jim, he is declining so, and then fighting with a new insurance company who was denying his bills, I won the battle finally on Friday to have them pay for his specialist, but they suck the life out of you when you are already dealing with so much.

Love the elk image. What a beautiful commute!

  2. Your quilt is beautiful. It's awful that you have to fight with the insurance company.

  3. Thanks for the pictures you include. I especially like them because I have a son and his family who live in Missoula. I really like the quilt and the colors show as red-orange, which I really like. I - and I'm sure so many others - think often of you and Jim and what you both endure. But to have to fight for insurance coverage should never happen in the U.S. Prayers are with you.
