Liberty Garden

Well, I finally decided to pull out this old BOM from Jan Patek, several years old and put the squares together. I need to add the borders, it's fused applique which I never do and the edges are hand stitched with a tiny whip stitch. Now that I see it this far along, I don't know why I never completed it back when.

  4. It is absolutely gorgeous!! I never thought I would do fused applique, but add some hand-blanket stitching and it is wonderful. I can't wait to see the border!

  5. I've always loved this quilt. Funny - I've decided to get this one out also. The top has been finished for 2-3 years. I'm going to get it basted together so I can big stitch it. I got linen thread from Jan way back when to do it. About time!
