Furry shawl
Remember the furry thing I bought at the thrift store, it's now a Furry Tote, I added a floral lining with pockets and a wonderful vintage broach that a friend had sent me.
Found a baby bed railing at the dumpsters, yep, like those cheap finds, cleaned it up to hang some of my nice wools on.
Otherwise, we are having a quiet Memorial Day holiday.

I love that bag Nancy! And look at that wonderful dumpster find! What a great idea! Hope you and hubby are doing well. Take care.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you back Nancy - hoped the spider incident hadn't taken you out of circulation. The bag from the shawl is lovely and what a great use for the set of bars from the cot - great recycling there
ReplyDeleteVery pretty find and what a creative way to use it! I like your baby rail as a display... neat! Hope you are doing great!
ReplyDeleteI love your furry tote bag. What a wonderful idea for the side of a baby crib. I think I'm going to start shopping for one.
ReplyDeleteGreat find on the baby rail for a wool hanger! I love rehoming stuff :O)... recently rehomed a small black book case... was headed for the dump... just a little work with my jig saw to cut out the broken ends and some serious elbow grease to clean it up... its great its in my sewing room!
ReplyDeleteI am glad your okay after the spider episode!
I love the furry tote! What a great idea! Hope you and Jim are doing ok.
ReplyDeleteI've been reading your blog for more than a year and finally had to let you know how much I enjoy seeing the items you're working on and/or have completed. Sure gives me incentive to get off my lazy behind! And the spider story made me gasp -- and laugh. What a horrifying experience and I hope you're completely recovered. Love your outdoor pictures. My No. 2 son lives in Missoula. If you give out your mailing address, I have something I'd like to send you.
