If it hadn't blown off the wall, it's been hanging on the wall in our staircase and it takes a very tall ladder to hang it, anyway, it it hadn't blown off the wall I wouldn't have been able to take a pic of it, and then try to remember when I made it, 12 years ago I think, don't remember the designer and certainly don't remember the name but I did needle turn the applique and even machine quilted it. Shame on me for not putting a label on it. Now I have to wash it since I can see the dirt, darn that wind.
Beautiful quilt. You do nice work.
ReplyDeleteThe wind did us a favour - it's lovely - how nice to reacquaint yourself with it :o)
ReplyDeleteOh this reminds me of sunflowers - lovely ....
ReplyDeleteOh, Nancy, what a beauty!!!! Glad it wafted down so we could see it.
ReplyDeleteWind is good - the quilt is better. I'm glad the breeze came through *s*
ReplyDeleteVery bright for you Nancy!
ReplyDeletegreat quilt Nancy!! love your folk art blocks too
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the wind blew it off the wall, so we could look at it. It is a lovely quilt. You could label it now, since you know the approximate date. The longer you wait the more time you have to forget.
ReplyDeleteI like it Nancy! It looks very familiar. I'm sure I've seen this pattern before. I just can't remember where or whose it is. Still a bit primitive looking - for a sunflower. At least that's what I think it is.
