Kaffe Gone Primitive

Finally, I finished this quilt, it shouldn't have taken me this long, just hate machine quilting and am not in a position money wise to send my quilts out, must be why there are several more waiting to be done. I started with the inspiration from one of Kaffe Fassett's books, he uses large floral fabrics in huge blocks or strips, when I was finished, the quilt looked too plain so I added some needleturn applique to add that primitive look I love so much.

  9. You're so smart to change the pattern to your liking! I love the applique on it. You're right, it would have been boring without it.
