Due to Technical Difficulties...

I haven't been able to upload pics from my camera.

But finally success.

So some photos of the Bighorn Sheep from February.

It was cold, beyond cold...
Like below zero cold...
for weeks.

With snow...

Lots of snow...

I'm always amazed how they all weather
such harsh conditions.

The biggest Ram who watched over his herd.
They are now enjoying the welcome warmth of Spring.

It's Been Awhile...

For me and my friends...

Bitter cold temps, like 5 degrees and snow for October...

Has brought a small herd of lambs..

And the Ewes to the property.

I'm excited to see a total of three lambs and their Moms.

Bighorn Sheep

2020 brings the Bighorns...

to the property for the first time this year.

I've been watching this battle worn Ram for years.

He has an old scar on his face that I recognize.

He was here with a large herd of Rams and little ones.

Those horns are massive as is he...

The little ones...

are so cute...

with their tiny, tiny horns.

Striking a beautiful pose to end my post...

Thinking of my friends in  Australia...
lives lost...
millions of wildlife lost...
property lost...
keep Australia in your prayers.

Welcome

to my neighborhood...

 A battle worn...

Ram...

 and part of his...

herd.

Gorgeous creatures to watch in person
and the interaction of the group
is always fascinating.

Bighorns and Woodpeckers...

The ever changing weather has brought snow off
and on for the past month.

Probably the last of my photos of the Bighorns
in the snow for awhile...

I've lost track of how many years this Ewe
has been wearing this tracking device.

She's healthy and very pregnant.

And on a different note...

A Pileated Woodpecker...
one of the largest woodpeckers in America.
I've heard the sound of his 'drumming' from the woods
behind the house for days. So a thrill to finally capture
an image of such a beautiful bird
