Flying in Circles

I finally finished sewing the binding on my quilt...
Flying in Circles.

Speaking of flying...

 One of my favorite birds...

Western Tanagers...

Even the females like this one...

Have vivid green and yellow feathers...

The males are the stand outs, though...

A stunning creation of color in nature...

  1. Your quilt is glorious! I love it. I would love to see a Western Tanager someday. We have Scarlet Tanagers once in a great while after a warm winter. Thank you for those wonderful photos.

  3. I love the angers you posted pics of. I have a red headed woodpecker that occasionally wakes me of a morning (hum - wonder if I could hire it to wake me of a morning -- always seem to be in an extra good mood those days). I love the quilt. Is there a pattern available any place? Flying gee are my favs and the rest is fabulous too. Thank you so much.

    1. Thanks so much! I never drew up a pattern of my quilt. It was a design in progress. I actually worked on the quilt on and off for years and just now finished it. Thanks for commenting.

  7. I always love seeing your pictures and the stories that go with them. Right now it seems like we are just going in circles sometimes... without purpose. But you are helping set us straight, thanks. The beauty of God's Creation is worthy of our attention.

  8. Like your quilt finish as usual. Do you have a source idea for finding older Linda Brannack patterns? I've been looking for Gathering baskets and have not been able to find.

    1. Thank you Wendy. You might have some luck finding that pattern with a Google search. Also try Ebay or Amazon. Good luck.
