Why...
Is...
Everything...
So...
White????
This winter was so harsh and cold this year...
like below zero for weeks...
and so much snow...
That I was surprised to see...
this little one this morning.
Those nails have been growing for
seven months during their
long seven month hibernation.

I have two more rows of
my Emily Munroe Quilt finished,
but the drifts are three feet deep out back
so it will have to wait for another
time before I can post those photos.
I am so sorry your winter was and still is so harsh. But this little one survived... so far.... how will he find food now that everything is still covered in snow?
ReplyDeleteI had to look up the Emily Munroe quilt. It's a beauty. Can't wait to see your version - very labor intensive.
ReplyDeletelove your pictures of this little diva with the long nails! So cute!
ReplyDeleteA friend in upper Vermont just got more snow yesterday, guess spring is a bit sluggish this year? Love this precious one, brave little soul! <3
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. We are still "enjoying" the white stuff, but I do suspect Spring is hiding just below the surface.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!! Thank you for sharing such beautiful pictures of your little neighbors!!
ReplyDeleteI just can't imagine how you cope with so much snow & such cold temperatures! So looking forward to seeing more of your Emily Munroe quilt.
