Surprise...
I decided to go with the aged fabric that Cee provided instead of the print. The print didn't give that aged, worn look that I was striving for and seem to get lost next to the dark background.
It looks perfect. I remember when you asked your readers which they thought looked best. Holding the fabric and seeing the piece in person is really different than seeing an imagine online.
It is a precious piece with your and your husband's initials and the date.
Well, that's interesting! Nancy is right, seeing it in real life is always different. The lighter binding seems to make the lighter fabrics and the light stitching more prominent, so I guess you have a choice about what you want to feature. Anyway, a nice finish!
