Ned and Jake...and Bison

I finished the applique on Ned and Jake.  Now to add the backing and a very thin binding.  I'll sew it by hand so that it continues that primitive and aged look.  Cee had a great tutorial on her YouTube channel on how to do that. Then the wool will be aged further.

I thought I better throw in that picture of the wool rug in case you all aren't as captivated by the Bison as I am.

A bit of a stare as another Bison is getting just a bit too close.

A little tail and a big tail.

Like I said, I'm so captivated by them and the depth of feeling in their eyes.

A little one was enjoying the sun...jumping

Rolling in the dirt...

And jumping some more.

  6. I'm pleased to see Ned and Jake, but I may be just as captivated as you by the bison. They are such magnificent creatures. The stare looks very meaningful and intense. The baby is adorable. I wonder if all creatures play when they are babies.
