Day 4 of the Quilt Challenge

On day four of the quilt challenge on Facebook, I shared some of my published designs.  This wool mat is Rhapsody in White, published Summer '13 in the Primitive Quilts Magazine.

Montana Majesty, very large wool applique on a pieced cotton background, published in the Spring '13 issue of the Primitive Quilts Magazine.

A Penny Saved, probably my favorite quilt, ever, because of the sheer will to hand appliqué 270 pennies on that one large piece of background fabric. I was trying to win a contest for Moda that required you to use as many Moda fabrics in a quilt.  I didn't win, but Fons & Porter saw it and published it in their magazine back in 2007.

  6. Your Penny Saved is one of my favorites too. If I had been a judge you would have won hands down. Such a fun quilt.
