Another Block Completed...The Emily Munroe Quilt

 
I love the red wools in this block on the army green wool background.  The center of the flowers are overstitched with crude stitches with beige wool thread for texture.
 
 
I'm liking how this first row is coming together.

  5. sure like the wool work on this quilt - looks wonderful - by the way maxine is still going strong and taught us a organza flower a few weeks ago - I am going to see her this week love mary beard in austin
