One More Time, The Pokeberry Quilt

I finished sewing the borders on the other day.  That older Brannock and Patek black striped fabric is perfect for the border.  I wish I could find more of it for another quilt I'm working on.

This was a kit that I bought on Ebay last fall.  I wanted something that I could work on easily while recuperating after the breaking the leg incident.  It's from Jan's Girl Gang group from 2002.  The seller taught the class and had many of the blocks completed and the vintage fabrics sorted so the stitching went fast.  I will quilt it by hand using the big stitch.

A beautiful day, not too cold, still some snow in the background and at the higher elevations and wonderful green grasses for the wildlife.

  1. This quilt is so beautiful. I really like how the blocks are off center - not lined up. Love the colors.

  5. It is a beautiful quilt and one you should be very proud of. Glad Spring has sprung for you! It was 75 degrees here in SC today and blue, blue skies. Spring is my favorite season. Have a great weekend.
