Pink Elephants and Sue Spargo BOM

My wool quilt, Pink Elephants, based on a design from Sue Spargo.  I made it years ago and posted it before.  Thought of  it and how much I love working with wool and embellishing after seeing Sue's new BOM for 2013.  Her new BOM looks stunning with wonderful, I wish I could show it to you, detailed birds to be appliqued and embellished, you can find it in her store. Pondering if I'm up to another BOM.

Here's the link to see Sue's BOM, Bird Dance.

  1. I saw her new BOM, really like that one. Reminds me of the fraktur birds I do, but Sue has a way with creating designs with wool and embellishments that would be fun to learn.

  3. Hi Nancy,
I'm pondering the BOM too, just wondering about the time commitment.
    Love your pink elephants.

  5. I love this quilt. I am so happy I ran into your blog. I live in the woods in the ozarks of Missouri and we really enjoy all of our wildlife. I love anything fiber, and I am really wanting to make a quilt with wool appliques, and I want to get into weaving again-been a very long time. I think your blog will be great inspiration for me Kathy
