The Big Basket and the Elk

The stitching is complete on the applique and I added one border.  Need to add one more border, one that is a little larger.

I was walking past the kitchen window and lucky to catch a glimpse of the female elk grazing behind the house.  I was able to take a picture of her thru the window screen.

She started moving to head back down to the lower meadow.  I haven't seen her for a day now, maybe she's having her baby and staying close.

You can see her belly, any day now.
