A Pin Cushion

I made a pin cushion, not that I don't have plenty, but most were gifts and like to leave them on a shelf to admire.
Started with this old dessert cup that I had, flipped it over, added some homespun fabric filled with fiberfill and a pin cushion I can use.

And a huge laugh yesterday, getting dressed to go out, put my clothes on, boots, sweater for the cold weather, walking out the door and looked down, still had my pajama bottoms on.

  1. Great usuable pincushion. Many times I have gotten into town before I realize my sweatshirt is inside out.

  8. I can't tell you how many times I've realized I've goofed in my 'clothing' choices. I've embarrassed the neighbors a time or two. Notice I said neighbors and not myself. I'm beyond embarrassing myself these days..... I chalk it up to insanity.

That dessert cup made me smile!!!! Your pin cushion too but the dessert cup! It made me think/remember. My grandmother would serve us ice cream in such a cup years ago... Hers were small and she'd scoop these little scoops of ice cream for a treat when we'd come to visit. Fun memories........
