Dance Me to the End of Love

Taking a break from blogging.

Leaving you with this haunting song from Leonard Cohen,
Dance Me to the End of Love

Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic 'til I'm gathered safely in
Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove
Dance me to the end of love, dance me to the end of love

From an interview with Leonard Cohen, "Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin," meaning the beauty there of being the consummation of life, the end of this existence and of the passionate element in that consummation.

You might want to listen to the entire song on youtube.com

Only one tortured by bottomless emotion could write such exquisite agony, from a listener, I have to agree.

  2. I was thinking about you yesterday and understand how deeply you feel the loss and are going through tough times and the things that bring back memories.
I hope you can get out and maybe do something for yourself and work towards a new goal and find peace and happiness for yourself again.
