Progress on Jim's Cross Quilt

Three rows of the Cross quilt completed, going to add two more rows and then a border, hope I have enough of the muslin border left over, but I did see that Primitive Gatherings carries bolts of it in all the prim colors. The fabric is from Moda and is not your usual muslin, love the feel and the shade variations.

Had to take a pic thru the window of a few of the female big horns. They look a little rough with shedding their winter coats, but they are loving all the green grass.

What a great place to live.

  2. I love the tea stained that my shop carries and now they have the new moda, but I like the older one better. The colors seem more natural to me.

  4. The Cross quilt is looking sweet with all those shades of goldy browns and tea color muslins. Very nice mix. And I'm glad to see those scruffy big horns out grazing. We have a new baby deer walking around with her mama in our neighborhood. I keep trying to capture a picture of them.

  5. I find myself checking in on you too. I just love this "+" quilt. I can't think of a more cathartic process at this time. It is truly beautiful. I hope you heal some along the way. Will check back...
