No pictures, just words

I seem to have become a night person. I actally stitch at the machine late at night when before I would be reading, doing handwork, before drifting off to sleep. It's a diversion of sorts. I think one thinks if you are in constant motion, your head and heart won't grasp where you are at this moment, I, of course, sadly, know exactly where I am. Motionless, yet moving. The days are better now. My neighbors and friends want to hear that I fine, not that I'm not, I'm just different now.

I won't be returning to the clinic for awhile, if ever. They had to fill my position May 6, they couldn't hold it any longer, I understand. They have been very good to me.

  1. I'm so sorry you weren't released by your doctor in time to return to your job. Hope you're feeling better each day. I know you love your quilting and have that to look forward when you wake. Always thinking of you. Linda, NE IA

  2. I understand how you feel sometimes it's easier to pretend for others because they're world has not been rocked to the core. One day one hour at a time.....

  3. As one who's plans never go as planned, I have learned to go with the flow. Just keep moving forward and see where your new path will lead.
