Please

Please do not feel we are lost, I am just letting you know how a life style can be lost so easily. The insurance, the jobs, all are part of our recent American tragedy, I am not alone in what has happened, you are just reading how it has affected our lives. I have friends here who help, some come who I don't even know their name, just heard we needed help. And so it goes.

  1. It is wonderful that people come to help ~ people that you don't know. It helps to restore our faith ~ Thank you for posting ~ I think of you often ~ I hope today is a day that something good and uplifting happens to you to lift your spirits!

  2. don't ever be sorry for what you've shared with us it's good to have a place to let it out...we all ache for you as you would the same if we had to be wearing your shoes right now....please find some release in just letting all the bad spill out so it hopefully doesn't overcome you as you continue your fight for what you believe is right....maybe we could setup a fundraiser for financial support i know their are many who would want to donate for you & jim....we all just want to help however we can being so far away....can we do that? oh how i wish for your agony to lessen.... always cheri

  3. I am so glad to hear that you have good friends to help you nancy. It is interesting to read a diary of how life can change so fast and the daily effects it takes.
I had read another diary once when a husband and wife were in a plane crash and survived it was a year long life of a burn victim (wife mother, sister, friend) and the courage of the daily events
This will be something that can be kept as memories and how you survived the daily events.
Know that those that follow are with you in spirit and prayers.

  4. Oh Nancy - in our comfortable healthcare world over this side of the pond, where everyone has medical care free at point of need albeit sometimes slow and boy do we whinge about it, I do so feel for you stuck with such troubles in a financially motivated system - I'm glad to hear people known and not so well known can give you the practical help you need and wish I could do more - however if yours and Jim's recovery was dependent on good thoughts, prayers and wishes being sent your way then you'd be riding high on a wave of good health and prosperity if it were left to me - sending you love and (((hugs))) from across the water x x x

  5. I`m still praying for you & Jim too.I know you feel numb with not being sure of what the next steps should be.Our church stepped in & helped us when my husband had to have a liver transplant,18 years now,he is still healthy with his new liver. There is hope,& I know you know that.
The fundraiser is a good idea,we feel helpless watching you go through this when we could be donating & helping,we all want to help you.
I would fight for your job somehow,go to a state representive,I`m sure there is a law they are breaking for not allowing you time to care for your husband.I pray for peace for you,Nancy,I pray for Jim,I pray for the time when you can sit & quilt your beautiful wool pieces.May God bless you ,you have all of us rooting for you, phyllis
