A Little Porch Time & more snow and Mule deer
All it took today was having to shovel the truck out after getting it stuck to call the plow guy. What a winter so far.
Anyway, showing a closeup of the stitching on Auntie Bean, just a primitive X stitch to pull the wool edges together on the fabric background. Like how it looks, will take the basting stitch out later, if I remember.
And Mule deer, just love their big ears, we usually don't have them around the property. They are standing at the back door. They are very curious. And when they run, they jump, like they have springs in their legs, very weird and funny to watch.

I must agree this is quite a winter. Even down here in California it is intense. Hang in there with your shoveling. It must be a full shift some days.
ReplyDeleteNice picture of your wool project. It looks good. And we actually have Mule deer in our neighborhood too. No moose though!
OOhh the mule deer are so cute. I always like to see pictures of your area Nancy. I love the purses you made recently.
ReplyDeleteThose Mule deer are adorable! :D I haven't seen those before. We have White-tail but not Mule deer, to my knowledge. :D Love your Porch Time piece too. :)
