Yellowstone purse and more Big Horns

We are in the midst of a winter storm weather warning, we have four feet drifts here on the property and can not drive out until we get someone to plow the road. Even the roads in and around Livingston are closed as is the interstate, emergency travel only, so I was relieved to hear the clinic was closed tomorrow so I wouldn't have to beg off. So I was able to take more pics of the Big Horns who are staying close to the house and even the Rams are getting use to me going out and shoveling now and then. They are beyond gorgeous. Should see the little ones trying to make their way thru the snow. So I also had time to start a new purse, the Yellowstone purse, made from an old army blanket with holes and penny circles appliqued and then an old pic of a campsite in the park on the back side. Need to add a few more pennies to the back of the purse. And then a brushed cotton fabric lining that matches the strap. Isn't it odd that those two pics were taken in the same light, yet looks like different color wool, the correct color is army green as in the first picture.

  1. I love to see your wildlife! Those Bighorns look fat and sassy...beginning the winter.

  3. What a great bag! I am glad you don't have to drive. It is finally raining here so the road is clearinig up and I just got my confirmation email for the 2011 Sue Spargo BOM so it is a good day.

  5. Thanks so much for the fantastic wildlife pictures. The Big Horns look like they're posing for you. Glad you got another "free" day to work on your purse and perhaps take more pictures. No snow yet in NE Iowa.
